Description

An in-depth study of the anatomy and physiology of the horse. This course will cover the basic evolutionary changes and functioning of the skeletal, muscular, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive and integumentary systems of the horse. In addition, first aid for diseases, unsoundness, and emergency situations will be covered. Prerequisite: junior or senior status. Three semester hours.
