Description
Patterns and dynamics of the geographic distribution and abundance of plants and animals. Historical, ecological, and evolutional foundations of biogeography. Applications of biogeographical models in the assessment of habitat degradation and climate change effects on species distribution and abundance. Prerequisites: BIOL 117 and BIOL 201, or permission of instructor. Three lecture hours and four laboratory hours. Four semester hours.
