Description
Survey of biological diversity with discussion of morphology, anatomy, reproduction, and evolution as related to classification. Ecological and economic significance of organisms discussed briefly. This course satisfies the proficiency requirement for Written Communication in the disciplines. Prerequisite: Grade of C or higher in BIOL 117, or permission of instructor. Three lecture hours and three laboratory hours. Four semester hours.
